Product Manager - Payment/FinTech

Product Manager (Wallet) for a leading online Payment / FinTech company - Bangalore / Gurgaon!

- Our client is looking for a product manager with 2-5 years of product experience along with relevant experience in either of these product line Wallet, Virtual Currency and Coupons and offers.

What you would need to bring to the table :

- Our leading client is looking for an excellent product manager to own the Wallet business .

- This involves enhancing/adding new features in the world class Wallet product which would enable the company to acquire and bring value to a large community of micro/small size businesses and their consumers. PM would also be responsible to ensure that both types of users i.e. business get an awesome end to end experience.

- As the portfolio goes, the product development in this role would have a larger share of new product development along with some share of optimizing existing flows.

Technical :

- User story writing, bug and road-map management expert

- Uses analytics expertly

- Constructs API definition successfully

User Empathy :

- Understanding different user types and their needs

- Synthesize user needs into insights

Strategic Thinking :

- Ability to lead effective brainstorming with peers from the Design, Marketing and Analytics team.

- Ability to frame the problem, pull in external dynamics, involve key stakeholders, generate/prioritize ideas with appropriate support

Communication :

- Articulate business problems to engineering partners well

- Write and deliver presentations to stakeholders with appropriate support

Collaboration :

- PM should be considered as strong thought partner by peers

- Proactively identifies and solves problems with other product functions

- Delivers small and big features with little-no errors

- There will be preference given to folks having payments background but thats definitely not a mandate. What matters a lot is the skill set of the individual.

- The role is cross functional in nature and PM needs to work with all functions including Sales, Marketing, Ops, Analytics, Design and Engineering to succeed.
