Role: Product Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities and Scope:-

- Align business to IT strategy. Report to senior management periodically on the delivery of quality product.

- Work closely with Product Management, Business Development, and Operations team, and enable them by providing scalable and high-quality solutions at a rapid pace

- Responsible for Scope, cost, risk, quality, and delivery of the product

- Work well in uncertainties and collaborate and work with unclear interfaces to other teams in our rapidly evolving organization

- Work with designers, business analysts, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment

- Responsible for driving good practices in engineering. Very high levels ownership of systems, team and their impact on its market place. Going beyond role & contributing to making the organization & business better is an expectation.

- Actively participate in development along with team members, creating systems that can then be treated as a working reflection of the best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions.

- Responsible for Scaling, Performance & Quality for the team.

- Comfortable working in fuzzy environments - where boundaries are- t clearly defined and proven experience as a leader capable of motivating and energizing the very best software engineers, as well as gaining their respect. - Be the mentor to your team.

- Quick & Excellent Problem-Solving skills for complex & large scale problems.

- Very Strong Product management, design and OO skills with a nifty ability to craft clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction.

- Good understanding & experience of high-performance web scale & real-time response systems.

- Experience & exposure to a variety of large scale persistent systems including large databases.

- Exposure to complete product development cycles - From inception to production to scaling up, supporting new requirements,re-architectures - should have seen it all. Should have been part of scalable product development cycles with either large data handling or large transaction processing exposure for 3+ years.

- Excellent Mentoring skills - Be the mentor to your team.

- 10 + years of overall experience.

- B Tech or higher in Computer Science or equivalent required.

- MBA is added advantage

- Experience working on large e-commerce platforms is a big plus
