This position is responsible for managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities for ortho portfolio, develop and execute product marketing strategies, support sales team with product knowledge, marketing material for scientific promotion, & brand positioning for MS gain
- Be the champion of the assigned portfolio with in-depth product & procedural knowledge.
- Develop brand positioning strategy, customer segmentation framework and roll out campaigns for product promotion.
- Drive customer profiling exercise partnering with sales team and create acquisition/ retention strategies.
- Develop KOL's for new and existing products for VOC and product positioning.
- Define the golden words to communicate unique selling points and competitive advantages
- Continuously monitor product performance, make upsell strategies to shift user adoption from older to newer generation products
- Production of product brochures, leaflets, and other communication material as per brand guidelines
- Design and implement a pricing strategy for designated products to meet ASP targets & portfolio profitability.
- Conduct margin analysis on a periodic basis to study trends to access pricing levels.
- Active partner for success of field staff, help shorten the sales conversion cycle and create platforms to share success stories and best practices amongst team members.
- Planning marketing programs & customer engagement activities and working closely with support teams & vendors for successful execution.
- Partner with SCM for rolling forecast and inventory level of new and priority products.
- Develop and implement feedback channels to ensure business units are following marketing plans.
- Footprint analysis of market coverage with a view to access service capabilities
- Support lead management initiatives for field staff, periodically compare leads and market mapping to identify untapped potential
- Work with business managers on sales roadmap validation and analysis
- Deliver product training to sales team, content development and structuring of digital content repository for online references
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
- MBA/PGDM Mandatory
- Exposure to product marketing in Medical Device Industry
- Demonstrated strong communications & presentation skills. Team-player with exemplary interpersonal and problem solving abilities
