Reliance Retail (RRL) Marketplace :
The Marketplace business is an internet-commerce based platform where sellers across various domains can list their products, pricing and positioning, while receiving support from the marketplace owners in terms of warehouse and logistics, paying a service fee to the marketplace platform in exchange for the listing and e-commerce services.
This is different from traditional e-commerce inventory model, where the e-commerce platform owner also owns inventory, and hence is traditionally an asset-heavy model. 3P Marketplace business on the other hand, is an asset-light model.
Lead Product Manager, customer experience :
Our mission is to become the go-to destination for any shopping need for our customers. Right from need realization to post purchase support, we want to offer the best in class customer experience. We also want to support entrepreneurs by providing resources and expertise to help showcase and deliver differentiated products to our customers.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Product leader to identify, prioritise and manage the features required to build differentiated customer experience on the platform. The leader will guide a team of product managers and will be responsible for delivering a seamless and a wholistic shopping experience for our customers. The customer experience team is responsible for end-to-end shopping journey of the customer- right from customer onboarding to browsing, to product discovery, evaluation, checkout and post purchase experience. Candidate will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of a road-map for multiple features aimed at solving customer pain points. Candidate should be effective at communicating and cross-collaboration, well-organized and good at adding structure to ambiguous situations.
Key responsibilities :
1. Owns long term product strategy, vision, roadmap for a product portfolio
2. Manages and mentors a team of Product Managers
3. Identifies, prioritises, and improves the customer shopping journey experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
- 8+ years of overall experience in technology industry
- 6+ years of Product management experience in consumer tech companies
- A Bachelor's degree in business, Tech or relevant field of study
- MBA or other advanced degree
- A knack for creating experiences for customers & sellers for new businesses with a focus on improving conversions
- Experience in overseeing roadmap strategy, efficient prioritization, and timely feature delivery
- Strong product planning and technical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
- Should also be a strong people manager and negotiator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and trade-offs to senior executives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience in laying out Product vision and product strategy for a diverse product portfolio
- Proven track record of end-to-end product development lifecycle management for a suite of product offerings
- Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment
- Experience in helping to define and grow B2C products. Ecommerce experience will be a plus.
