Position : PRODUCT MANAGER
Experience : 8 to 10 years
Qualification: BE (Mechanical) or BE (Production Engineering)
Empire Machine Tools, A Unit of Empire Industries Ltd., is one of the largest trading organizations involved in sales and service of imported machine tools mainly from Germany, Italy, Japan and Czech Republic.
Empire Machine Tools have branches all over India namely Mumbai as Head Quarters (HQ) and branches at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune & Ahmedabad. We are in this business for more than 50 years and have well trained sales, service, application and commercial people to handle the business of over USD 60 Million per year.
We are on the lookout of PRODUCT MANAGER for HQ at Mumbai and the profile of the candidate is as below:
Qualification
BE (Mechanical) or BE (Production Engineering) from reputed institution / university. Additional qualification in Marketing Management is preferred but not a must.
Experience
Minimum 8 - 10 years in handling marketing of High performance, Gear Cutting Machines, Rotary Transfer Machines, Horizontal Machining Centres, CNC Horizontal Boring Machines, Large size CNC Lathes, Gantry Milling Machines and various other machines for industries for Automotive, Defence, Aerospace and Heavy Engineering Industries. The person should have experience in selling these kinds of machine tools to government and private customers. Should have flair and aptitude for customer rapport and continuous interaction with customers.
Preferably should have served as Product Manager or Product Specialist in machine tool OEMs.
Should also have flair to develop business on need based requirement of customer. Market intelligence and enquiry generation is an important aspect of this task and to be continuously applied for larger revenue / high value business.
Job Profile
- Product Manager for pan India basis, located at Mumbai HQ
- To work with principals and branches to generate enquiry and develop customers
- To handle key customers or develop key customers on yearly basis
- Handling CNC machine tools as above and develop rapport with customers
- To develop new customers and generate High Value enquiries on continuous basis
- To ensure that all orders are executed smoothly including receipt of payment
- Competition information reports
- Digital marketing
- Finding new sources (source finding based on requirement)
Emoluments
Up-to 18 lacs per annum (includes Basic + DA + HRA + LTA + Medical Allowance + PF + Superannuation + incentive). Higher salary can be considered in case of deserving candidate.
Location
Head Office, Mumbai
Candidates from Machine tools company like Gleason, Klingenberg, Liebherr, Makino, Mazak, DMG and similar companies are mostly preferred

Salary: 1,200,000.00 - 1,800,000.00 per year
