Product Manager - Disruptive Legal Tech Startup

- Our client is an online platform for legal information and advise. The users can post anonymous questions, and receive legal advice from expert lawyers; also they can book consultations with the lawyer that suits their requirement for a minimal fee.
- The founders are IIT and Kellogg Alumni. Although from a tech background, the founders understood exactly what trouble Indians go through to resolve their legal queries and issues. Started out in 2015, their team helps people across property issues, medical negligence, divorce, child custody, immigration, cheque bounce cases, consumer cases, legal drafting, intellectual property disputes, fund raising for startups, amongst others.
- AS the Product Manager, you will synthesize requirements in an actionable business plan, engage technology/ design/ operations stakeholders to review the plan, prioritize and track tasks/ feature development for stakeholder teams and eventually ensure timely delivery of the product.
What you will do:
- Meeting with customers to understand their pain points and driving the product development keeping customers needs at the forefront
- Being responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, execution and growth of a product category and working closely with technology, marketing, and operations team to ensure quality customer experience and timely delivery
- Defining metrics to 1) measuring success of the product 2) measuring quality of customer experience/satisfaction 3) identifying bottlenecks in process improvements etc.
- Being responsible for researching and investigating legal technology products through market research and innovation
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- Candidate should have previously worked in a product management role for consumer or retail business.
- Should have 2+ years of experience in a similar role
Qualifications: MBA ( IIM / ISB ), IIT/ NIT
- Customer focused mindset with high bar for customer experience.
- Strong project management and time management skills with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to understand and analyse user needs and conduct market research
- Bring in independent thought, like to challenge conventional thinking and identify opportunities to drastically simplify and improve ways of doing things, especially using technology
