Product Manager - IT

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Create documents for existing suite of applications.

- Update existing documents to reflect changes to functionality.

- Test both the product and its documentation for accuracy and consistency.

- Document product specifications like PRD, User Manuals, Release Notes etc.

- Create resources and educational materials, including videos, demos, tutorials, training materials, guided tours, product overview and FAQs.

- Translate high level inputs into clear requirements by engaging actively with required stakeholders.

- Should have the expertise to understand and communicate the product features to both highly technical and non-technical users.

- Aim at providing users with the information that will resonate best with them based on their user persona.

- Ability to thrive, without much oversight and manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously within deadlines. End-to end ownership is desired.

- Consult with subject matter experts from engineering, support, and product management.

- Ability to efficiently and thoroughly address feedback on documented content from internal team & stakeholders.

- Liaise with users to get feedback on product features and usability. Keen attention to detail and ability to work with user interface designers and usability experts.

- Publish and maintain templates for written documentation, ensuring a consistent "look and feel."

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant technical field with at least 6+ years of industry experience.

- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.

- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent attention to detail with a creative eye.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Possess creative skills like creating infographics, flowcharts , graphs & and charts in documentation that increase users' understanding.

- Good understanding of technology and strong experience working with an IT team.

- Exposure to modern IT trends and capabilities such as mobile, cloud and data analytics.
