Product Manager - IT

Duties may include:

- For each assigned area, define the long-term strategy and product plan and evangelize that vision within the organization

- Refine and build the assigned product offering over time in order to achieve and maintain product leadership

- Conduct business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring and reporting

- Monitor and track product feedback to help in the prioritization of development projects

- Facilitate critical trade-off decisions between investment, schedule and customer benefit

- Actively lead risk mitigation and management; lead problem resolution as issues arise

- Act as product champion for internal stakeholders

- Gather detailed business requirements from key stakeholders then document and manage stakeholder requirements and expectations

- Work with Development Team to impart product knowledge and produce what will become the basis of sales presentations, collateral, and press releases where appropriate

- Identify operational requirements throughout the enterprise (i.e., Finance, Customer Support, Marketing, Supplier Partners, Training, etc.) to ensure all requirements are met for the successful deployment of product features and enhancements

- Define business requirement documents which serve as a bridge from high-level business objectives to the functional specification, based on intimate knowledge of the feature, customers and market trends

- Work with the team to ensure requirements are understood and prioritized appropriately

- Work with Development Team through product development cycle to ensure product features developed meet the desired business objectives

- Be comfortable in getting hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done

- Validate product features after deployment to ensure they meet all operational and business requirements

- Collaborate with business teams on training, testing, and related activities.

- May assist in conducting third-party product evaluation and integration

Travel may be required as per the business needs

Requirements:

- BA/BS; MBA preferred.

- 5-7 years experience in product development/product management.
