Job Description - Product Manager

The Challenge :

- As a product manager, you will be an integral member of the product team - working closely with sales, marketing, client success, engineering & user experience design. You will have the opportunity and responsibility to define enhancements to the product functionality and shape future releases of the product. You will be responsible for managing the life cycle of existing and emerging products working with the Product Management department and leading a product team.

- Being a part of product management team, you will work on a range of complex (and fun!) problems and will be responsible for delivering the best-in-class product. You'll work among star engineers, designers and product managers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, hybrid technology environment.

- Your performance will be measured by your ability to move fluidly from the big picture to the smallest detail so that the team can deliver complex and strategic cross-functional projects, often with tight deadlines. No task is beneath you.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage world-class web-based applications and tools that solve developer pain and attract them to utilise our customers- platforms

- Partner with the team to understand business strategy and identify/define both market & product requirements around developer community and platform tools

- Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

- Estimate time, definition, deliverables, dependencies, scoping and resources as well as communicate and manage product and release prioritisation

- Ownership of delivery of product initiatives and releases

- Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers to think boldly and creatively and then to funnel that energy into concrete products and execution plans

- Define and analyse metrics for the success of products

- Communicate development status and document progress toward milestones

- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment, where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

- Customer Feedback Post Release

Requirements :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Product Management of web products to market, from concept through development and launch, in software or internet services. Worked extensively into Developer Platform

- Previous experience as a web developer, technical evangelist, technical product manager or role where both technical and social skills were used

- Continuous awareness around platform development products and enhancements

- Analytical thinking and passionate about solving problems

- Clear focus on customer/end user requirements

- Understanding of the Technical Architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications and/or SaaS products

- You've built Web Applications before and are familiar with the most current web development technologies

- Strong knowledge & expertise in building Libraries & standards in API's development (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON)

- Knowledge of development communities and desire to interact with developers on their own turf, physical or online

- Knowledge of technology trends in Developer tools and web API's a huge plus

- A high bar across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on.
