Our Client is a WhatsApp-based platform for businesses, offering comprehensive engagement solutions like broadcasting, notifications, live chat, and chatbot integration. It enables revenue growth through effective WhatsApp marketing strategies.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Market and Customer Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market gaps. Engage with current and potential customers to understand their challenges and requirements, ensuring the product meets these needs effectively.
- Product Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that communicates the vision, priorities, and progress to internal teams and stakeholders. Ensure the roadmap reflects changing market dynamics and customer feedback.
- Feature Definition and Prioritization: Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to deliver a product that aligns with business goals and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams from a product's conception through its launch and beyond. Act as a product champion within the company, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
- Product Development Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product development lifecycle, including conceptualization, design, specification, development oversight, release, and iteration. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure product features are delivered on time and within budget.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor product performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), including customer satisfaction, revenue, and market penetration. Use data to drive decisions and iterate on the product as needed to meet business objectives.
- User Experience and Usability: Ensure the product delivers a superior user experience (UX), focusing on usability, design, and overall customer satisfaction. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to continually improve the product interface and functionality.
- Competitive Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive products. Analyze competitors to identify opportunities for differentiation and to anticipate market moves.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including customers, team members, and executives, providing updates on product development progress, milestones, and challenges.
- Feedback Loop Management: Establish a feedback loop with customers and internal teams to gather insights, address issues promptly, and continuously enhance product offerings.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure the product complies with all relevant regulations and standards, particularly those related to data privacy and security, which are critical in communication platforms.
Qualification and Experience:
- Good with Product Analytics tools & CRMs like mixpanel, Intercom etc.
- Proficiency in compiling project status, risk management, and marketing reports.
