Product Manager
IMP: Candidate should have done integration on group side (Group Insurance)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the digital group insurance product strategy, with a focus on managing integrations and backend APIs, to meet the needs of our customers effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, design, operations, and business development to define product requirements and prioritize features for integration and API management.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of digital group insurance products, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems and efficient backend API handling.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, user feedback, and technical requirements to inform product roadmap decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with technology teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and oversee the implementation of integrations and backend APIs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to integration efficiency, API performance, and user satisfaction, and implement strategies to optimize product performance and scalability.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to integration and API management, and incorporate them into product development strategies.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product management, with a focus on managing integrations and backend APIs, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of integration technologies, API management principles and backend systems architecture.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products, with a focus on integration and API management, from concept to implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Experience working in an agile development environment, with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree/PG in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
