Product Manager - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual

At Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects.

Our client, a top-tier consulting firm, is involved in a digital banking development project for a prominent public sector bank in India. To assist with this, they are seeking to bring on board two product managers who will be responsible for creating and launching new products in collaboration with both internal and external engineering teams.

The ideal consultant will be someone who has prior experience with MSME Banking digitisation, thorough understanding of MSME business (Lending and non-lending), and prior working experience with project management tools such as Jira.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Taking ownership of assigned tasks and employing project management frameworks to ensure their effective delivery.

- Overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from inception through launch.

- Reporting directly to the project lead, providing crucial updates on progress, challenges, and successes

- Presenting findings and recommendations to clients.

- Implementing recommended solutions and providing necessary assistance to the client in executing them.

- Collaborating with the broader case team, including Partners, to manage the overall project module.

- Contributing to the bank's digital strategy by delivering impactful products.

- Demonstrating effective communication skills and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.

This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 12-month contract. This project is based out of Mumbai, and the selected consultants would need to be onsite for the entirety of the project duration.
