Product Manager - Fungicide
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic
- Develop marketing plan & strategy for products / product categories including annual marketing plan, launch strategies after due evaluation of product potential of new / planned launches.
- Identify new market segments and formulate marketing plans for the same through due market research in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sales team and other stakeholders to develop Sales & product forecasts.
- Design and drive market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product (s) and new product introductions (for example, initiation of projects, review of market findings, post survey actions)
- Monitor industry, market and competitive trends for the concerned products / product categories (for example, competitor product performance, pricing, promotions schemes, new product introductions)
Product Marketing & Training Activities
- Review and improvise on brand communication including key message points, USPs, regional strategies , product stewardship with the support of concerned stake holders (e.g. sales teams & marketing services)
- Develop and implement sales promotion schemes & campaigns for the product / product categories, in collaboration with the Field Sales team (for example, product incentives, product discounts, special offers)
- Prepare Product Training Manuals with support from concerned stake holders like Product development, Field Sales, etc.
- Implement revisions in the sales promotion schemes, based on the feedback from the Field sales team (for example, impact on sales, feedback from channel partners, customer feedback)
Field Marketing Support Activities
- Be the first point of contact / reference for all product related enquiries , ensure resolution of all product related queries in collaboration with the concerned stake holders (for example, Product Development, Marketing Services, Supply Chain)
- Coordinate with the Field Sales team to assess the response / feedback on current product promotion initiatives (for example, customer feedback, effectiveness of promotion campaigns)
