What You'll Do
- Shape the product roadmap, paying particular attention to the needs of the user cohort (internal and external) and aligning product initiatives with wider business objectives instituting an outcome driven approach
- Conduct user interviews and research to deep dive in users' wants, needs and pain points and eliminate friction in each step of the user journey culminating into an ultra high throughput.
- Leverage tooling and instrumentation to gain insights in user behaviour, challenges, segments and product performance and recommend product enhancements.
- Work across the organisation, partnering with multiple stakeholders ( design/UX, engineering, operations, support, etc.) to understand and translate requirements, make tradeoffs of scope and implementation, and deliver high quality features.
- Think about data. Analyse the impact of increments and features and provide insights on opportunities and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Define and document PRD's and feature specs through clearly written stories.
- Verify stories are implemented as intended, record bugs, and assist the engineering team in driving resolution.
- Define and measure KPIs. Prioritise product ideas and ship ongoing capabilities to deliver a great user experience.
- Evolve into Subject Matter Expert on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies in the financial services space to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
What You'll Need
- Prior experience of at least 3 years in product management or related roles within the fintech industry.
- Stronghold in Agile methodologies, product management frameworks, and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of financial services, including banking, payments, lending, or investments.
- Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
