What You'll Do:
As a member of the product team, you will have ownership of user-facing web or mobile products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shape the product roadmap by aligning with the needs of internal and external user cohorts and linking product initiatives to broader business objectives, following an outcome-driven approach.
- Conduct user interviews and research to gain deep insights into users' wants, needs, and pain points, and strive to eliminate friction in every step of the user journey, ensuring ultra-high throughput.
- Leverage tools and instrumentation to understand user behaviour, challenges, segments, and product performance, and provide recommendations for product enhancements.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders (design/UX, engineering, operations, support, etc.) across the organization to understand and translate requirements, make scope and implementation trade-offs, and deliver high-quality features.
- Analyse the impact of feature increments and provide insights on opportunities and recommendations for continuous improvement, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Define and document Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and feature specifications through well-written stories.
Verify that stories are implemented as intended, identify and document bugs, and assist the engineering team in driving resolutions.
- Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs), prioritise product ideas, and continuously deliver capabilities to ensure a great user experience.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies in the financial services space to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
What You'll Need:- 2-4 years of prior experience in product management or related roles within the fintech industry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product management frameworks, and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of financial services, including banking, payments, lending, or investments.
- Demonstrated bias for action, ability to handle multiple priorities, and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to effectively both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
