Role: Product Manager
The initial focus will be on the development and launch of a new e-store seamlessly connected to customers in India and international market. This person will lead the creation of an e-store experience that attracts members and leaders. This person will set product priorities, drive shared vision across functional groups, define product requirements, and work across teams to deliver these products and services successfully to a global membership. Based on consumer expectations and behavior, define, launch and deliver delightful and differentiated web experience (features and functionality) to consumers in a profitable manner.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- ECommerce experience is mandatory for this role.
- B.E./B.Tech (CSE/IT) + MBA
- 7+ years of relevant product management experience in ecommerce
- Experience building online services, preferably consumer-facing
- Very familiar with potential technology solutions and service providers
- Experience launching new concepts or start-ups a plus
- Ability to work well and lead cross-functional teams, particularly in supply chain activities
- Experience identifying, contracting with, and directly managing third party vendors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited direction
- Strong consumer relationship/interaction skills
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:
- Define and communicate e-store product road map to continually improve the user experience based on ongoing customer research, feedback, and performance.
- Ensure effective and efficient execution of roadmap in collaboration with peers in other functions such as Engineering, Merchandising/ Sourcing, Supply Chain/ Operations
- Maintain knowledge on all products and services of website and recommend new products and enhancements
- Develop all customer wireframes and user cases and ensure optimal level of customer services.
Requirements Analysis
- Ongoing communication and collaboration with Engineering to develop, test, and launch the product
- Training and rollout activities
- Post rollout monitoring (e.g., of adoption and usage)
- Define, track, and improve key product metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, repeat purchases, cross-sell and up-sell, gross margins)
- Prepare work schedule for all projects and provide support to all strategies to achieve all marketing strategies.
