About Ninjacart
Ninjacart is India's Largest agri marketing platform, solving one of the toughest supply chain problems through technology. We connect vegetables and fruits farmers directly with businesses. At one end, we help farmers get better prices and deal with consistent demand and on another end, we help retailers to source fresh vegetables at competitive prices directly from farmers. We do this effectively at lower cost, better speed and larger scale using integrated supply chain powered by technology, data science, infrastructure and logistics network.
We move one 120 Tonnes of vegetables from farm to 1800+ retailers on daily basis within 12 hours in Bangalore and Chennai. We are 450 people company. We work with 3000+ farmers and 1500 retailers. We aim to grow to 1000 tonnes of daily volumes, Expand to more cities

Product Management @ Ninjacart
- Product management at Ninjacart is all about leveraging technology to build truly disruptive products. As a Product Manager at Ninjacart you will own the problem statements and entire product life cycle for key products
Few products we are working on currently
- Scaling from 100 tonnes to 1000 tonnes: We are optimising our supply chain algorithms to increase 5X utilisation. This means we can process more volume with current capacity
- Big Daddy: Robust financial reporting application built on micro services, which will help us track till last penny spent and reduce cost
- Practical POS: We are envisioning a simple, slick and practical POS for small kirana shop to manage their inventory, sales and operations
- App for Farmers: Practical and offline/online farmer app, which helps farmers with all information to make better decision and sell his produce easier
Responsibilities
- Own the entire product life cycle for products at ninjacart from inception, strategic planning, delivery to live launch, post-launch tracking and ongoing product management, enhancement, and development
- Conceptualize new business initiatives by working with business stakeholders and create business impact through effective planning, business analysis and operational data metrics, and by driving execution with operations and technology team
- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, payments, backend products and operational processes
- Collaborate with engineering team and business owners to identify problem statements, define the business goals and metrics
- Creating product specifications documents and conducting product specification reviews with key stakeholders
- Will work closely with different teams to create synergies leading to a high-quality product
- Analysing product metrics regularly and use the learning for product innovations and improvements
- Ensuring timely delivery of projects through proper planning, scheduling and execution
Requirements
- MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes (ISB / IIM'S / NITIE)
- 1+ years of experience in product management post MBA
- Strong in product management process and best practices
- High problem solving and customer-centric mindset
- Smart, Hungry and Entrepreneurial
- Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
- Strong passion for data-driven decision making i.e. extremely high focus on analytics
Preferable skill-sets
- One stint in startups and worked in more than one company
- Experience in launching new concepts is an added advantage
