Product Manager - eCommerce

Job Responsibilities:

1. Website & technology:

i. Define and detail user journeys for new features, and take ownership to deliver these features

ii. Track analytics and suggest website improvements for a better user experience

iii. Understand and lead analyses of the competitive environment, customers and product metrics to determine the right set of features to drive engagement and usage

iv. Make data driven decisions to improve conversion rate, bounce rate and key online metrics

v. Design wireframes, work with designers to develop visual designs and work with engineering manager to deliver a smooth user experience

2. Inventory:

i. Work with business & operations team to ensure inventory availability

ii. Daily Monitoring of website for discrepancies in inventory, find out root cause of the problem and hot fix the same

3. Sales & Reporting:

i. Create and update a weekly dashboard to track sales performance

ii. Work with SSC team to resolve customer issues and complete the sale

iii. Work with WH team to maintain delivery promise

4. Product & Content Management:

i. Work with category team to induct new products

ii. Daily monitor the website for discrepancies in product content, filter facets and images

Qualification & Experience:

- BE/B.Tech degree in a technology-related field

- MBA or PG in Management, preferred - 2-6 years of experience in a Product management role with e commerce companies, either B2B or B2C

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in digital commerce or payments and understanding of the retail eco-system 

- Passion for technology - pro-active in understanding and developing various applications, must have used technology to solve business problems. 

- Knowledge in developing elegant and simple feature functionalities which deliver the world class user experience

- Good learnability and adopt technologies that help build large scale, performance, reliable and sustainable systems.

- Strong problem solving skills, identify feasible alternatives and freeze on the optimal solution to remove friction points

- Ability to work in fuzzy environments

- Able to take high ownership of complex system components
