Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our e-commerce search functionalities. This is a unique opportunity to work on advanced AI/ML products and make a significant impact on the user experience for millions of customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a passion for AI/ML technologies, and the ability to drive innovation in search, personalization, and recommendations
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Develop and articulate short and long-term product strategies and roadmaps for e-commerce search.
- Translate business and customer requirements into detailed product roadmaps, engineering specifications, and system dependencies.
Business and Stakeholder Management:
- Evaluate business cases to deliver customer benefits and meet financial goals.
- Actively manage key business stakeholders through product reviews, strategy sessions, performance assessments, and priority setting based on impact and effort.
Data Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct competitive intelligence and internal data assessments to uncover new opportunities and generate insights aligned with company goals.
- Track and analyze key operational search metrics and financial performance indicators to measure progress.
Implementation and Testing:
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to implement search initiatives.
- Conduct and analyse rigorous A/B testing to inform launch decisions and optimize product performance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience working on ML/AI-based consumer products such as Search, Personalization, Recommendations etc.
- Prior experience with natural language processing (NLP) is preferred
- Understanding of ML terms (embeddings, Cosine similarity, Precision, Recall etc.)
- Prior experience of working on ML models preferred ( Unet, XGboost, llama, etc.)
- A hustle mindset, ready to take on new challenges and drive projects to completion.
- Excitement and enthusiasm for diving into the world of large language models (LLMs); prior experience is a plus.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make impactful decisions in a fast-paced environment
