Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Closely coordinate with cross-functional teams from marketing, sales, operations, technology, and customer feedback to determine the order of importance for platform innovations and enhancements in relation to customer input and operational impact.
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from conception to launch, including requirements collection, roadmap definition, and development effort coordination with an emphasis on efficient system integration.
- Create alignment and understanding amongst teams by using narrative techniques to explain to stakeholders the benefits and intricate functionalities of the system.
- Perform in-depth market research and analysis to pinpoint competitive dynamics and industry trends. Then, use these findings to spur innovation in the life insurance market.
- Track and evaluate platform usage data to continuously improve operational effectiveness and user experience while bolstered by engaging stories.
- Maintain stringent compliance with industry and regulatory standards controlling life insurance products and services, including compliance into system narrative with ease.
- Visit branches and agent offices to learn about the demands and challenges faced by agents and sales fields. Once there, identify problems and create solutions to improve operations and service delivery.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Insurance, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a related role within the life insurance industry, with a proven track record of effectively collaborating with internal teams and integrating systems.
- Experience working in a BSG (Business Solutions Group) team and on core insurance backend systems.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and requirements within the life insurance sector, facilitating effective system integration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams through compelling narratives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
