- As a Product Manager for Recurring Payments, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of our recurring billing solutions.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and scale our recurring payment products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers while providing a secure and smooth payment experience.
- Your role will involve understanding market trends, working closely with stakeholders, developing product roadmaps, and delivering high-impact features that drive business growth.
- You'll need to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints to deliver a best-in-class product.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and drive the product vision and strategy for our recurring payments platform.
- Define and prioritize features that deliver value to both merchants and consumers.
- Customer Insights & Market Research: Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to understand customer pain points, identify trends, and gather actionable insights for product development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, operations, sales, and marketing teams to develop and launch product features.
- Communicate the product vision clearly to all stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams.
- Product Roadmap & Execution: Define and manage the product roadmap, balancing long-term strategic goals with short-term execution priorities.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features by managing the development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to track product performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and measure success against key metrics such as user adoption, churn rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure the recurring payments product complies with relevant financial regulations and standards, including PCI-DSS, GDPR, and other industry-specific requirements.
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify and address pain points within the recurring payments ecosystem, proposing innovative solutions that improve the user experience, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to business growth.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define product positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
- Support product launches with clear, compelling customer-facing materials and training.
Qualifications:.
- Experience: 3+ years of product management experience, with a focus on payments, fintech, or SaaS platforms.
- Experience in recurring billing systems, subscription models, or payment gateways is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong understanding of payments infrastructure, subscription models, billing systems, and related technologies (e. , Stripe, PayPal, ACH, etc.
- Technical Knowledge: Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical constraints and possibilities.
- Familiarity with APIs and integrations in the payments space is a plus.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and use metrics to drive product improvements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to balance business needs, customer demands, and technical limitations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
