Role: Product Manager - CMS Collections
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and execute the Cash Management - Collections business strategy for the bank in order to maintain and grow revenues in line with established revenue targets and support the growth of CMS client base in India.
- Formulate strategies and develop marketing plans for the business to meet established revenue targets
a. Identify customers present needs and future expectation
b. Benchmark capabilities with competition
- Execute defined strategy and marketing plans
a. Finalize targets in conjunction with sales team
b. Ensure that adequate sales tools and resources are provide to sales team
c. Proactively monitor progress, provide support & remove bottlenecks as required
- Develop new products ahead of competition and leverage the bank's network, technology and resources to provide value added solutions to clients
a. Proactively engage with other business groups such as client coverage, retail branch network, operations and IT to achieve stated objectives
b. Keep abreast with market developments and new products /technology by interacting with business leaders and participating in industry conferences and seminars
- Ensure continuous business process re-engineering in order to improve service delivery and reduce costs
a. Works closely with operations and customer support group to benchmark delivery standards and costs with competition and make necessary adjustments to the current process flows
Key decisions:
- Pricing decisions for key customers
- Respond to customer's needs/complaints and make appropriate changes in process delivery and resources.
Key Competencies / skill set:
- Knowledge of cash management along with processes
- Technically savvy - digitize the product offering
- Ability to lead a team
- Ability to independently take things forward
