Product Manager Digital Banking - Retail (Chief Manager / AVP)


Job Summary :


- Responsible for developing and executing tactical initiatives to support growth of the Digital Banking portfolio whilst also being a contributor to the development of product plans relating to Digital products, meeting customer needs.


- Drive online product roadmap for Digital Banking Channel.


- Managing the Internet/ Mobile Banking Channel and new digital initiatives for the Digital Banking group.


- Own the development of the product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis.

Key Responsibilities :


- Write complete and detail-oriented product requirements documents, ensure clear communication of those requirements to the business, design, usability and development teams.

- Involved in the technical solutions of the business requirements with the engineering team.

- Manage various Digital payment initiatives of the bank, including Unified Payments Interface (UPI), IMPS, BBPS, Net Banking, Mobile Wallets, Social Payments using Facebook, Twitter etc.

Increase Customer Penetration :


- Extended mobile banking services to customer segments like Windows users, non-smartphone users & standalone credit card customers.

Enhance Customer UX :


- Periodic releases of various banking features & enhancements on the mobile app, with focus on improving the end user's banking experience.

- Driving usage of IMPS (immediate payment service), recharge and bill payment on digital channels.

- Lead all digital product management aspects of the channel including design of new product propositions, UX/UI improvements and campaign management to boost traffic and online conversion.

- Craft business requirements, UI specs, wireframes and engage closely with the engineering team to implement technical solutions for world-class customer experience.

- Closely monitor competition, analyze gaps and trends and launch new initiatives.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications :


- Bachelor's Degree in any specialisation. Master's degree will be an added advantage.

Relvant Job Experience :


- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in banking, at least 2 years of which must be in Digital Payments.

- Excellent knowledge and relevant experience in Product Management, client segment.

- Analytical with Product management skills.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Understanding of investment need/supply gap analysis of targeted audience.

- Ability to multi-task & manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Drafting skills for writing strategy & business plan documents & proposals.

- Understanding of key business drivers & ability to drive business output.

- Working knowledge of excel and good presentation skills.
