Product Manager - Business Development - Automotive
Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators) :
1. Create a roadmap for business development in Automotive segment
2. Create an Automotive segment specific database of current and potential customers; products & applications; emerging trends in North Region
3. Proactively engage with key customers & stakeholders, and through industry forums, create arenas for interacting with downstream influencers, to capture new business opportunities
4. Facilitate actions on the identified business opportunities along with Sales colleagues, handover for regular business once commercial supplies are established.
5. Responsible for guiding and facilitating regional NBD/AE/PDQC in the study for business opportunities (All regions)
6. New Product development and innovative solutions.
- Proactive planning and identification of new products - Futuristic.
- Value Proposition for competitive edge
- Envisaging possible changes in usage and enhancing usage of steel.
Decision making authority (Decisions expected) :
1) Critical techno-commercial analysis of new business opportunities
2) Prioritization of Business opportunities to focus on timely participation in major new products/projects
3) Scoping and execution of market research projects and planning the budget for the same
4) Techno-commercial assessment & Cost-Benefit analysis of new opportunities
Educational Background and Work Experience :
- Engineer with Management Qualification(preferred). Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in the Business Development, Automotive sector in the sourcing domain or of selling of Steel to the segment.
