Product Manager - Building Materials

Position: Product Manager (Leading Building Materials Company)

Role :

- Responsible for analysing the market potential of the Product & leveraging opportunities in the market by drawing up sales & marketing strategy which is aligned to the business plan and ensure delivery of above strategy

- Responsible for market mapping, product management, segmentation & developing market penetration strategies for the segment

- Responsible for generating sales revenue and profitability

- Responsible for working together with a team of Regional Managers and their team of Sales & Specification Managers to develop business in the given segment

- Provide training and coaching to sales teams

- Work closely with key customers - consultants, end customers in building specifications to offer solutions

- Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors

- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability

- Drive digital marketing activities including content development and campaigns on website, social media etc

- Develop marketing tools like brochures, presentations, expos, retail meets etc.

Requirements :

- Qualification: BE (Mech / Civil / Electrical) or equivalent, PG: MBA preferred.

- 5-8 yrs of experience in marketing of Building Material Industry or related segments

- Primarily experience in Product management / Marketing management in building material companies providing technical solutions to builders and Individual house builder market.

- Strong communication & interpersonal skills

- Good networking skills

- Good Stakeholder Engagement Skills

- Strong knowledge on subjects such as engineering drawings, project management, sustainability.
