Job responsibilities: - Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth - Work closely with factories and develop products that meets market requirements - In depth knowledge of general and local authority standards - Ensure product compliance to authority standards with necessary certification - Define the product strategy and roadmap - Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market - Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life - Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases - Propose a product marketing plan and budget and then deliver against it - Write Product Requirements and Market Requirements documents - Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships - Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition - Develop core positioning and messaging for the product - Perform trainings/ product demos/ to customers, clients and partners - End user product trainings - Trouble shooting at sites - Project management activities for btoh direct and through channel partner projects - Identify product and system improvement milestones and implement the same effectively - Act as a liason between the client, the development teams and factories - Create and maintain a digital library - Product price indexing - Monitor, report and improve product performance - Run trials and MVPs, develop and deliver go to market launch plans - Channel management and support - Commission market and competitor research - Promote the product to sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters and other mechanisms - Develop and deliver training to technical sales support - Manage development and marketing projects to deliver to plan - Collate feedback from sales and customers - Represent the voice of the customer in senior level management meetings Required skills and qualifications: - Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle - High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams - Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies - Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills Preferred skills and qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering - Strong experience in a dynamic product management role in the Building Management systems segment - Experience in Commisioning/ managing team of commisioing engineers for Building management system, is a plus - Undersatnding of various integration platforms such as LON, BACnet, RS485 etc. - Niagara certification is a plus
