Product Manager - B2B Business - Consumer Durables/Manufacturing

Position: Product Manager

Experience: 5 + yrs

Education: BTech / MBA

Location: Mumbai - Head Office

Ideal Candidate:

- Experienced Product manager preferably in B2B segment.

- Should have experience in furniture or similar B2B product categories.

Key Deliverables

- Will be responsible for product management for a category/categories of furniture products.

- Product management will entail- monitoring the sales and orders as well as pricing.

- Identifying product gaps, benchmarking with competition and prepare and own a NPD plan (new product development) for the category.

- Topline Achievement - Sales target Category wise and channel wise, break into pcs with channels and categories, with focus on each piece of the pie.

- Bottomline Achievement - maintain COGS as per the target

- Work with marketing and operations to ensure that prices are updated and new product prices are released timely.

- Assimilate and review customer/team feedback on the products, liaison with design and marketing team for any changes required.

- Building Product Portfolio and effectiveness of portfolio. Working with sales team to analysis current and future trends

- Should travel frequently in the markets to get customer feedback on the products.

- Work on product pitches and study competition products.

- Prepare presentations in conjunction with marketing department.

- Work closely with marketing to plan product catalogues.

- Brand Management - Translate brand elements into Product and go-to-market strategies, anchoring the transition from single category / single channel business to Multi Category / Multi channel business.

- Maintain brand architecture and getting the Product and Product strategy ready for a unified approach to KAT as a division.

- Ability to work unsupervised, well organised, maintains all data, communication, customer files and ability to multitask.

- Experienced Product manager preferably in B2B segment.

- Should have experience in furniture or similar B2B product categories.
