About the Client:

A diversified business group, with interest in areas of sugar, sewing machines, and home appliances among others. The group has a strong brand presence nationally, and has set up offices in Asia, besides exporting globally.

Locations: Gurgaon

Job Description:

- This position is responsible for complete ownership of the product in terms of product, portfolio roadmap, innovation and lifecycle management and profitability.

Key Responsibilities are :

- To work out the Product roadmap for the Product Category and managing the entire product life cycle

- Successfully deliver projects in specified project plans. Working closely with Research and Category managers to generate consumer insights and identify need gaps.

- Market share and margin delivery. Understand consumer behaviour, competition strategy and market trends in the Product category / segments.

- Innovation pipeline / cadence for short term and long term. Developing innovation funnel or pipeline to existing and new range of products

Desired Candidate Profile:

B. Tech (Electrical/ Mechanical) and MBA (Marketing, preferable) with minimum 5 years of end-to-end Product Development experience from Consumer Durables, Electronics or Small Appliances Industry.

- Experience in working with R&D, innovation, quality and procurement teams

- Experience in making and executing business plans

- Knowledge of managing Product lifecycle and project management

- Excellent Relationship Management skills.

- High on self Motivation, positive attitude and work ethic desired

- Analytical skills

- Creative thinking

- Good written/spoken communication skills
