Product Manager - AIR Freight - B2B Logistics Firm

As the Product Manager - Air Freight, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Air Freight product strategy, ensuring its alignment with the overall business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional

service to our clients. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the air freight industry, market trends, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Development:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Air Freight division, considering market trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements. Identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

2. Market Analysis and Positioning:

- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.

- Define and implement effective positioning strategies to maximize market share and profitability in the Air Freight sector.

3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of the Air Freight product strategy.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including airline partners, customs authorities, and regulatory bodies.

4. Financial Management:

- Develop and manage the budget for the Air Freight product division, ensuring financial objectives are met. Analyze market and competition and strategize pricing plans accordingly. Analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed.

5. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customs requirements, and internal quality standards for all Air Freight operations.

- Implement measures to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- Proven track record of at least 6 years in a leadership role within the Air Freight or Logistics industry.

- In-depth knowledge of global air freight operations, regulations, and industry best practices.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
