Product Management Role - Cards Portfolio - Cards & Payments Firm - Contractual

Our client is a leading global cards and payments firm, currently looking for a skilled cards product management professional to work with their banking clients in India. The focus of the role is to lead the end-to-end design, development, and launch of new credit and debit cards propositions for retail customers. The focus will be on the retail consumer credit cards proposition but also cover debit cards. Therefore, this position is critical to the overall growth strategy of their client cards businesses.

Responsibilities:

1. Product Management:

- Support designing of the customer value proposition for the credit card products

- Work with Client's alliances and other support teams to identify partners for sourcing product benefits

- Liaison with Client's marketing team for finalizing card designs and marketing collaterals pertaining to product launch

- Work closely with the Client's operations, technology, and support channels to design processes to deliver the desired product promise to the customer

- Leverage best practices to build product note and collaterals to support the Client's sales team in driving acquisition across channels

2. Client Management:

- Manages projects owning all client deliverables and all client discussions in the project

- Stakeholder management and communication

- Co-ordinate cross-functional teams

3. KPIs:

- Successful launch of new cards products/propositions to market

Requirements:

- Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience managing credit/debit card products within the payments/cards/banking business

- Understand current marketing trends and competition benchmarking

- Strong project management skill set

This opportunity will be on an initial contract duration of 6 to 12 months. This role requires the consultant to be based in Mumbai.
