Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for Tractor Loans and Farm Products, aligned with the company's mission and vision.
2. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product enhancement.
3. Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch new financial products and enhancements, ensuring they meet the needs of the agricultural community.
4. Product Life Cycle Management: Manage the entire product life cycle, from ideation to retirement, and ensure products are competitive, compliant, and profitable.
5. Customer-Centric Approach: Champion the customer's perspective throughout the product development process, focusing on improving user experiences and solving customer pain points.
6. Risk Management: Develop risk mitigation strategies, assess creditworthiness, and implement effective credit underwriting processes for tractor loans and other farm products.
7. Compliance: Ensure all products and services comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
8. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Tractor Loan and Farm Products and implement necessary changes to optimize profitability, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, credit, and operations teams to ensure the successful launch, promotion, and operation of products.
10. Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets related to product development and marketing, ensuring cost-effective strategies.
11. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, analysts, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with a focus on financial products and services.
- Strong knowledge of the agricultural sector, farm products, and tractor loans.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to financial products in the agricultural sector.
- Strategic thinking and ability to drive product innovation.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
