Product Lead - Data Platform

What You'll Do

- Craft the product vision for one or more foundational components of company's data platform including but not limited to data transformation, lineage, governance, quality, privacy, etc.

- Align your vision to the needs of multiple stakeholders including clients, other product development teams, and internal users

- Work closely with the engineers/architects to execute on your vision

- Be involved in conducting competitor analysis and stay on top of emerging industry trends

- Articulate business cases, estimate timelines and budgets, communicate with all stakeholders, prepare project plans, release notes, etc.

- Work with other product managers for projects cutting across multiple business areas to provide

comprehensive business solutions

What You'll Need

- 5+ years of product management or development experience with either a strong technical proficiency in data platform components (transformation, cataloguing, lineage, etc.) or a strong working proficiency in modeling, governance, and quality of financial domain data

- Experience in working closely with engineering teams

- Outstanding academic background & passion to work in a high-tech software development environment

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints/ideas and influence stakeholders

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality

- A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude

- A healthy combination of resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity, and execution process

- Strong understanding of investment banking or finance is preferred
