Product Head - SME (Unsecured Business Loans)
- Responsible for overall SME product management including new product development, modifications to existing products, Digitisation, Analytics, pricing, marketing intelligence, budgeting and tracking of yearly targets
- Individual is also responsible for regular improvements of SME product & Process and Drive Sales effectiveness through enablers like incentives, schemes, Channel pay-outs, driving channel mix optimisation as per defined strategy and action plan on bottom layer, also expansion planning for SME business
Product development :
- Focus on new product/Variant development in line with customer needs & competitive landscape within the strategic guidelines of SMB
- Work on Specific Programs within SME space to increase business in more safer segments/geographies including Cross sell to internal customers.
- Report to top management about the product and its performance on a time-to-time basis with recommendation for changes in process/Policy based on internal strategy of SMB.
- Identify the impact on P&L against budget and take corrective measures by engaging different stakeholders including internal & external on strategic drivers ex SEP/SENP, DSA/DST, ROI, PF, Insurance, Credit cost etc
- Discuss existing & new product proposition with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance with risk, legal, compliance and other departments
- Should have strong market networking & get insights on Product & Competitors from time to time
Digitisation :
- Work closely with Digital team to drive SMB digital initiatives across SMB including LOS, LMS, Collection, Call centre, Partnership etc
- Develop and articulate business case and future roadmaps for SME products and ensure smooth roll out of products / enhancements
- Reduce cost of digital activities along with digital team by exploring new vendors or efficient processes
Sales Effectiveness :
- Monitor team performance & productivity according to expected productivity matrix as defined in budget & ensure corrective action along with Sales leadership.
- Manage Channel mix strategy in line with our Cost of Acquisition
- Drive Incentives, Contests & Rewards & Recognition programs for SME team & Channel Partners from time to time to achieve different objectives align to our overall Strategy.
- Track & publish performance across regions/Areas/SMs & drive competitive spirit within teams to drive budgeted numbers
- Post Graduate from tier 1 or 2 institute preferred
- Innovative Thinking, Product Strategy, Excellent Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Networking within the industry, Design Thinking, Good in Analytics & Business Intelligence, exposure in Digitisation of SME customer segment, Team Manager & Player
- 12-15 years in finance industry with at least 7-8 years as part of product team with 3-4 years managing the Product team of a top tier bank/ NBFC/ fintech in India
