Product Head - Ride Sharing Services App

- Our Client is a leading app based ride sharing service provider based out of Gurgaon and is looking to hire a Head of Product Management. If you have worked in the Consumer Internet space and have a demonstrated track record of managing teams and worked on building products from scratch, then you are a great fit for this job.

Client Details

Our Client is is a bus aggregating platform offering bus service to its commuters in cities . The platform claims to offer services such as good buses, reserved seats, flexibility in timing and economically viability. The service is available via mobile app. Our Client operates over 1,800 buses in the Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai. It currently claims to complete over one lakh rides daily through its premium buses and caters to the large working population of India that yearns for a comfortable, affordable, and reliable daily ride to their workplaces and back home.

The company raised its Series C round of funding in January, 2020.

Description

- Define the long-term strategy and vision for the product, leveraging broad customer research, customer experience and new technologies to deliver features to our customers

- Drive requirement definition, customer experience design, product roadmap, and prioritization.Define and own the business metrics and OKRs for our products

- Work closely with the engineering team on refining and running the product development process

- Lead the UX team to ensure a consistent, seamless and aesthetically pleasing experience for our consumers across our suite of products

- Build a world-class team of Product managers

Profile

- 10+ years of product management experience with at least 5+ years of experience owning the product suite of an organization/ business unit/ geography

- 4+ years of significant people management experience including both direct and indirect reports. Must have recruited and built high performing teams in the past. Experience communicating with technical and non- technical stakeholders at all levels

- Strong project management skills. Very strong process orientation and an ability to set and drive processes to operate at a very high launch velocity

- Ability to influence and drive alignment with various business leaders across the company in order to ensure development and execution of the product roadmap

- Very strong ability to think and solve from first principles and fundamentals. Must be able to design solutions for problems which have had no prior comparables. Prior experience of having built and launched products in the consumer space that are the first in the industry/ geography will be strongly preferred.

- Good understanding of engineering complexities. Ability to work well with engineers.
