Product Head - Retail

About Client: The company is a leading retail giant in India, offering a wide range of products and services to meet the needs of a diverse and growing customer base.

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai

Reports to: Chief Product Officer

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive product strategy, roadmap, and vision to align with company goals and market needs.

- Leadership & Management: Lead and inspire a product team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and inform product strategy.

- Product Development: Oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring high quality and performance from ideation to post-launch.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, etc.) to align product goals with business needs.

- P&L Management: Own the product P&L and ensure financial success.

- Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs, track performance, and make data-driven decisions.

- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation to keep products competitive.

Requirements:

Experience: 10+ years in product management, including 5+ years in a leadership role.

Education: Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).

- Product Expertise: Strong understanding of product management frameworks, agile methods, and user-centered design.

- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams.

- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to inform decisions.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
