Position Name - Product Head - Loans & Lease Finance

Experience Range - 15 - 20 years

Mandatory Requirement:

- Expertise in product development, enhancement, and management of loan and lease finance products

- Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, credit, and/or loan products.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for loans and lease finance, aligning with the organization's overall business goals and market trends.

- Product Development: Lead the design and development of new loan and lease finance products, including defining product features, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.

- Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive trends, informing product innovation and differentiation.

- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization and launch to ongoing monitoring, performance tracking, and product enhancements.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, credit, risk management, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless product implementation and delivery.

- Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary training, tools, and resources to effectively promote and sell loan and lease finance products, driving revenue growth and market penetration.

- Credit Risk Management: Partner with credit and risk management teams to establish underwriting guidelines, credit policies, and risk mitigation strategies for loan and lease finance products.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies governing lending activities, mitigating regulatory risks and ensuring adherence to best practices.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of loan and lease finance products, analyzing key metrics such as loan volumes, profitability, delinquency rates, and customer satisfaction, and taking corrective actions as needed.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders, senior management, and external partners to communicate product strategies, solicit feedback, and drive alignment across functions.

Qualification and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification preferred.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, credit, and/or loan product management, with a focus on loans and lease finance.

- Proven track record of success in developing and launching lending products, driving revenue growth, and achieving business objectives.

- Strong understanding of lending principles, credit risk management, and regulatory requirements governing lending activities.

- Experience working with large banks or NBFCs, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive cross-functional collaboration.
