Product Head - Kitchen Appliances Manufacturing Firm

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business for the respective categories - should understand Manufacturing Process, Product Management, Pricing Management, Vendor Management

- Should have strong vendor contacts in the domain

- Should have knowledge of Market Sizing

- The ideal candidate will have strong product management and business experience (channel management)

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing customer interviews and market assessments. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into technical assessments.

- The ideal candidate will study the existing line-up and plan / design a new product roadmap.

- The ideal candidate will allocate resources to ensure timelines are met - both at the manufacturing level and business.

- The ideal candidate will run design sprints. They will prioritize product features and communicate the reason behind this to the stakeholders.

- The ideal candidate will develop a pricing and revenue model for the business.

- The ideal candidate will define and track success metrics.

Responsibilities :

- Manage allocated kitchen appliances category - for General Trade, Modern Retail,

- E-Commerce, and Institutional Sales - Should have strong knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Cost Savings, Cost Down Strategies, and Quality Control

- Should have strong knowledge of - New Product Strategies, Pricing Management, Inventory (Critical), Competition Analysis, etc

- Should be able to perform Customer Interviews and market assessments - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa - Plan and design product roadmap -

- Allocate resources - Run design sprints - Prioritize product features and communicate the reason behind this to the stakeholders - Price and revenue model

- Define and track success metrics for their team

Requirements : -

- Engineering Degree and full-time MBA in Marketing is a MUST

- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Product Management - Strong understanding of the Kitchen appliances category (Juicers, Mixers, Toasters, Kettles, Blenders, Induction Cooktops, Choppers, Hobs, Chimney, etc)

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
