Product Head - Hardware & Software - Retail

Looking for a seasoned leader for one of the biggest retail companies in India.

Work profile:

Providing Strategic direction on Products (both Hardware and Software):

- Creating the product delivery process relevant for wearables

- Finalizing hardware and BoM for all new products

- Leveraging internal engineering resources and external technology partners for both hardware and software completion

- Coordinate with NPD on costs and delivery into our system

Exploring New Opportunities (Business Development):

- Exploring New Cases: Scanning the industry landscape and consumer trends to develop products with new cases

- Reach out to and engage other start-ups / companies in India and internationally for potential partnering on new technology

- Build/co-create product briefs and innovative use case scenarios of existing technologies. Evolve product concepts while engaging with internal and external engineering and R&D teams

- Owning the product and development roadmap relevant for the business over an 18-month time frame

- Owning overall Product Planning and Product Launch

- Business Development & Partner Expansion

- Process and Systems Recommendations

- Owning Product Marketing and Packaging along with the Branding / Marketing team

Key deliverables:

- Developing and launching multiple products on time

- Exploring new use cases and embedding them in our roadmap for execution

- Creating a roadmap for future product development

- Multiple level coordination with the engineering and R&D, NPD, brand and GTM teams to ensure smooth development of products.
