- Knowledge of water filtration/treatment and water filtration experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, must speak and write English. Basic computer skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Product Manager; is responsible for the comprehensive go-to-market strategy development, implementation, and management for Residential Filtration business focused on the Package Products in India.
- Leads the execution of the overall product strategy, distribution plan, and promotions strategy. Identifies new channel growth opportunities and customer targets.
- Champions new marketing programs and executes comprehensive consumer focused campaigns to support rapid market adoption and achieve sales targets.
- Plays a key role in driving innovation. Develops plans, pricing, product line development and forecasts for assigned product categories.
General Duties:
1. Identify, prepare and execute plans that will drive organic growth in India for the PRF Package Product including Point Of Usage and Point of Entry.
2. Performs consumer-focused market research and RAPID growth projects to develop overall go-to-market
plan to identify new products and services for market opportunities consistent with corporate capabilities and
objectives. Analyze the market and industry trends, Analyze competitive strengths and weaknesses, voice-ofthe- customer, and customer retention and attrition.
3. Identifies customer targets and develops customer acquisition plans with development of presentations, POS proposals, and required sales support materials.
4. Conducts voice of the customer (VOC) activities to identify new growth opportunities.
5. Drives growth by achieving lead generation targets for sales and business development.
6. Responsible for preparation and presentation for customer-requested line reviews, both new and current
customer accounts.
7. Has a keen understanding of market trends and innovations.
8. Leads the development of marketing campaigns and manages the introduction of new programs, services, and products to the sales and distribution channels. Tracks results of all programs.
9. Conducts market pricing analysis and determines new product pricing for channel and MSRP.

10. Develop and analyze sales reports from internal sources, in order to identify key issues, trends, and
opportunities.
11. Serves as channel expert for assigned channels and brands to support internal team, field sales, distribution and end consumers as required.
12. Drive cross-selling initiatives with other Pentair businesses.
13. Leads the development of product literature, price lists, marketing training programs and presentations,
promotional material and packaging.
14. Maintains high level of communications with sales team, channel management team, engineering team,
operations and counterparts who also market/sell within same channels and markets. Develops strong
relationship with GBU (Global Business Unit) partners.
15. Travels approximately 40% of the time to trade shows, customer meetings, suppliers and strategic partners, etc. as required.
