A. Role Purpose:
- Equipping the business team with insights on book/portfolio behavior with necessary data support
- Support the business/front end team with product & process initiative
B. Position Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development & Maintenance:
- Identification of banking needs through competition analysis (primary & secondary research)
- Identify markets/segments for which products are best fitted variants through feedback from branches/channels/research/customers
- Develop offering based on potential of segments/regions keeping in mind ideal product mix required
- Customisation requests for CA basis customer's business requirement & commitment
- Plan for promotional activities & campaign for product offerings
- Product Launch - Positioning, Branding, Marketing Collaterals, Communication, Roll out
2. Process / Product Management:
- Implement enhancements in product portfolio in line with present value offering (product, pricing, schedule of charges and packaging)
- Review processes suggest improvements resulting into TAT / Cost reduction and better customer service / experience
- Relationship management with all stake holders for putting up the requirements in place - BSG, Operations, Cost Teams, Audit, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, etc.
- Product Training - Channels, Branches - Classroom / Knowledge Series / FAQs, etc.
3. Product Profitability / Fee Income
- Periodical review of Product Profitability
- Customized accounts profitability review - for tracking commitment
- Fee Income - Monitor & review growth in fee income vis- vis targets
- Design & implement plans to improve penetrations in alternative channel and x-sell products along with other relevant teams
4. Product / Process Compliance
- Ensuring the product offerings / campaigns are in line with regulatory guidelines i.e. product features, charges, services, etc. are in accordance
- Ensure new product design adhere to all internal processes and procedures of the bank
- Coordinate with the Process, Branch Banking, Channel, Compliance, Risk for Audit & Compliance related parameters and their fulfilment related to CA product

D. Educational Criteria:
- Post Graduate / MBA / CA with Min. 6-7 years' experience in Banking / Product / Liability Business role
