Product Director-Ecommerce/ Fintech
Hiring for Product Management roles for a disruptive fintech headquartered in Europe, serving markets a cross Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Netherlands, etc. The venture is backed by top European and Global VCs. The founding team includes serial entrepreneurs and industry leaders with experience from Uber, Amazon, P&G, BlackRock, Google, WeWork, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs etc.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage portfolio of products across Lead Ingestion, Sourcing & Pre-Sales, and Transaction business functions consolidated and executed through the Acquisition Platform.
- Be a perceptive and creative leader and a reliable problem-solver with experience developing Internal tools, B2B and B2C products; with exposure to real estate being an added bonus.
- Guide the design, user interface, and technology integration of projects; with data as the Centre-piece of every transaction at . Use your expertise on industry-wide trends you will also act as a business advisor and realize tech-driven new business opportunities.
- Create and execute on product strategies consistent with the company vision with a focus on operating assets, delighting residents and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Work directly with functional leads and market teams on identifying challenges, and translate that to product vision, plans and roadmaps
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
Skills:
- Experience with building online advertising or marketing technology solutions. Acquisition using marketer's first-party data (site visit and/or offline data) a plus but not mandatory.
- A Proven track record over multiple years as an individual contributor product manager responsible for value and viability of solutions.
- Responsible for assisting with quarterly planning and assigning objectives (problems to solve) to product teams
- Implemented short term tactics to improve metrics, and have a long term view towards market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
- Proven ability to engage with both individual contributors and leaders of all levels in constructive and collaborative relationships
- Facilitated understanding and validating challenges within the function, work with the cross-functional teams (business, engineering, data and design) to understand options and develop solutions with the team
- Developed strong working relationship with senior management that allows them to be the voice of the product
- Been ruthless prioritizing while balancing business needs, engineering challenges, compliance & legal requirements and still deliver relevant business outcomes
- Strong presentation and customer-facing social skills (written and verbal).
- Reviewed work deliverables across Product teams to ensure there is consistency in standards and delivery of high quality products
- A deeply analytical mindset and track record for evidence-based data driven decisions whilst also building business intuition around the product
- Experience with B2C products across web and mobile
