- Drive technologies and improve existing products.
- Collaborate with company marketing and consumer insights to understand and anticipate market demand
- Collaborate with Operations in setting standards for new plants and ensuring all new products are effectively led into scaled up solutions
- Planning and developing products to meet consumer needs and remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Creating lead measures for Innovation success
- Drive processes to help ensure end to end success of new product launches
- Drive accountability, consistency, quality, and process standardization across all phases of research and development.
Key Roles and Responsibilities :
- To lead literature search and identify suitable route/process for product development in the fields of food Product.
- Monitoring development activity with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance.
- Giving support for registration of new products with statutory authorities.
- Knowledge of Techno Commercial, legal, regulatory and environmental requirements for smoother implementation of projects.
- Take challenges of trouble shooting and improving efficiencies of current practice/products.
- To conduct pilot scale trials with the help of Chemists/Production and subsequently provide support during commissioning to ensure smooth technology transfer.
- Generating various MIS and keeping management updated.
- Co-ordinate and liaise with Heads of various departments including Production, Design and Project, Quality Assurance, and commercial, in pursuance of company's functions and policies.
- Ensure safety in R&D.
