Reports into:

Function- BFS Analytics & Insights- Equity Research Analytics

Qualification

- Post graduate degree in Economics, Statistics, or

- CA, CFA , MBA Finance

- Graduate with work 5-10 experience in Top Indian Broking house in Banking / Financial services/Stock
Broking /Insurance

Experience- 8-14 years

Job Description

- Have good analytical capabilities. Have thorough understanding of financial analysis & valuation models. Have worked on research software like Capital-line, Bloomberg, Reuters etc

- Thoroughly aware of the on-goings in the Global markets. Have experience of attending analyst meets & annual general meetings. Be able to arrange team of equity analyst.

- Provide leadership, training and guidance to junior Analysts in developing understanding of equity research.

- Prepare analytical and concise written reports. Adhere to time-lines/turn-around as per client requirements.

- Create and maintain financial models. Use appropriate spread sheet (Excel etc) techniques for research documents.

- Play a leading role in developing products for customers. Identify, define, collect and track key business metrics that would help to track the product.

Skill Sets Required

1. Analyzing quarterly financial results and other events of the companies covered

2. Coverage/initiation of reports on large and mid cap stocks and presenting them to clients.

Desirable Skill Sets

Thorough understanding of the BFSI sector is vital.

- Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
