Identify KPIs / Product metrics for each feature / experience that needs to be built &ensure they are integrated into the development module for tracking
Track each KPI obsessively on a daily basis. Build dashboards / reporting tools and share insights with a myriad of stakeholders that highlight opportunities for improvement and growth of the product. Be comfortable using tools such as MixPanel on a daily basis
Drive generation of detailed & crisp insights based on user behaviour, market trends and macro environment (competitors / complements / substitutes)
Build hypothesis and identify A/B tests or experiments that need to be conducted in line with hypothesis. Share insights / learnings basis those tests / experiments that may validate / reject the proposed hypothesis with cross-functional teams
Gather market requirements / user insights with the help of market / user research for multiple markets across the globe
Communicate requirements and market assessment in a crisp manner through spreadsheets and presentations with global teams
Be updated on all similar / competitive apps globally and identify trends in mobile experiences / products that client needs to embrace. Periodically conduct detailed product benchmarking & feature evaluation exercises
Intellectual and analytical curiosity - initiative to dig into the why, what & how
Strong number crunching and quantitative skills
Inherent interest in eCommerce & marketplace technology platforms and broadly in the consumer Internet & mobile space
