Product Analyst - Google Analytics/SQL - eCommerce

Skill set requirement :

- The team of Product Analysts is responsible for finding and reporting all the possible Product optimizations across all eCommerce channels to improve customer experience, subsequently increasing revenue and/or reduce costs of operations. This team plays an integral role in the analysis, hypotheses formulation, hypotheses validation, testing, implementation, measure and reporting across all product lines.

- The Product Analyst combines analytical, statistical and technical expertise to help create a world-class digital customer experience and optimize conversion. In this role, you will be trained to perform detailed analytics to support key business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional senior leaders in Product, Engineering, and Operations on fast moving, high-stakes problems providing analytical frameworks and insights to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities : 

- Work with complex and large volume of analytics data to understand trends, behaviours and correlations

- Drive adoption of analytics recommendations in an engaging and collaborative manner with stakeholders

- Build compelling data visualizations, including dashboards, for both internal and external consumption

- Perform exploratory data analysis to define product improvement features that can drive business value

- Work closely with Product Development teams to clarify queries, resolve issues and provide solutions

- Participate in testing of product releases to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly

- Represent requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams) and scenarios

- Perform detailed analysis of customer behaviour and customer feedback using tools like Omniture, Google Analytics, FireBase or Amplitude. Make revenue impacting recommendations based on data

- Monitor program performance, analysing variances to trends and escalating potential concerns

- Develop and automate reports, and iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs

- Own the monitoring of business metrics, product/launch performance and report it to stakeholders

- Support implementation of functional and backend enhancements on the sites, including performing user acceptance testing and vetting business requirements against industry best practices

- Coordinate follow ups needed across third party vendors, UX and site development teams to prevent bottlenecks and support timely delivery of roadmap

- Act as subject matter expert to provide regular consulting expertise on site improvement projects

Qualifications : 

- Advanced knowledge in all MS Office tools

- Proficient in running SQL queries

- Ability to write scripts and code in programming languages, such as R, Python, Java is a plus

- Experience with Omniture, or at least one enterprise-level analytics tool

- Experience with A/B testing tools or personalisation tools a plus

- Effective communication skills and an ability to provide insights-based recommendations to the team resulting in data led decisions

- Previous experience working in an Ecommerce environment, preferably in a revenue optimization or product management role

- Excellent organizational skills

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver on deadlines

- Deep analytical mindset, with the desire to understand our users at scale

- Prior large retailer experience is preferred. Designing through analysis and recommendations
