- In this key role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of the company's supply chain by overseeing procurement activities related to jewellery, gems, and precious stones.

- You will leverage your expertise to manage purchase orders, evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and analyze procurement data to optimize processes and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the entire purchase order lifecycle, including creation, tracking, and fulfillment.

- Evaluate and select qualified suppliers based on factors like quality, cost, delivery performance, and ethical sourcing practices.

- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts with suppliers.

- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e., Design, Sales, Finance) to ensure alignment with business goals.

- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends in the jewellery/gems/precious stones industry and stay informed about supply chain developments.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the gems and jewellery industry.

- Proven expertise in purchase order management and procurement processes.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving solutions.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.

- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional task prioritization and time management skills.

- Working knowledge of supply chain management principles.

- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e., procurement software, MS Office Suite)
