Procurement Manager/ Supply Chain Head - Agro Chemicals
Responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing costs while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Procurement:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on product quality.
2. Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
3. Inventory Control:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of raw materials and supplies while minimizing excess inventory.
- Implement inventory management systems and procedures to optimize stock turnover.
4. Quality Assurance:
Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that purchased materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Cost Optimization:
- Continuously seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and track cost reduction achievements.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor performance data.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Qualification And Experience:
1. Must have had experience of 15-20 Years Supply Chain & in Agro-chemical Industry is a must.
2. Strong knowledge of agrochemical products, raw materials, and suppliers.
3. Excellent Planning and organizing skills.
4. Good in Time management.
5. Good in written and oral communication.
6. Good in networking and market intelligence.
7. Excellent command on MS office, especially MS Excel.
8. Hands on experience on saving trackers.
9. Knowledge and experience on ERP Module.
