InCommon is hiring for Neufin, a company that creates cutting-edge technology solutions to accelerate the Renewable Energy transition for mid-market Commercial and Industrial businesses.

Position Summary:

- We are seeking a Procurement Manager with 4+ years of Experience to lead our Renewable Energy Procurement vertical, developing technology-driven solutions for C&I customers to source green power.

- In this role, you will collaborate with founders on business development, project feasibility, PPA pricing, deal structuring, and Go-To-Market strategies.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, excellent communication skills, analytical expertise, and key account management experience.

- We value innovation, a hands-on approach, and the ability to build, test, and iterate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Scout, acquire and build a healthy C&I customer deal pipeline through lucid conversations, market insights and a nuanced understanding of pricing dynamics.

- Establish clear requirements from C&I customers to structure a power mix solution that can include open access, group-captive, bilateral or exchange-traded products.

- Break down in detail pricing/tariffs at a state (across multiple states)and central level for C&Is to check and assess the viability of setting up renewable projects under group captive/ third party open access/captive mode (this experience is mandatory).

- Identify the cheapest source of renewable energy for a given C&I basis the power mix options and build a clear plan to source power.

- Leverage this to appropriately price PPAs.

- Obtain sound knowledge of various state regulations around renewables solar, wind, storage and hybrid.

Requirements:

- Educational Qualifications: Candidates with a bachelor's degree in one or more of the following fields Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Commerce.

- Worked at an Independent Power Producer (IPP) or a leading startup in the RE space in a similar role for at least 4 years. (Relevant experience is mandatory).

- Prior experience should include working in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.

- Proven experience of closing a PPA end-end on a minimum of 3 deals.

- Lead sourcing - Deal structuring - Negotiating with C&Is - Closure.

- Ability to break down complex topics into a structured and easy-to-understand format.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to effectively multi-task in a numbers-driven atmosphere.

- The right attitude toward a sense of urgency, risk, and ambiguity that comes naturally with working at an early-stage startup.
