Procurement Lead - FMCG

One of our esteemed client an MNC in FMCG industry is looking for Procurement Lead- Green Field for their HO at Mumbai.

Responsibilities:-

- This role is responsible for overall management of all procurement activities in collaboration with the Green Field projects team. The incumbent will be required to develop souring strategy for all Green field projects with inputs from Regional and Local procurement teams.

- The responsibility includes development & sustenance of a supplier database to reduce the overall ownership of cost associated with the above and also working in collaboration with various stakeholders in order to ensure that the critical timelines of implementation are met for all Green Field projects in India.

This role is expected to :-

- Work in collaboration with Projects team for delivering the identified projects within scope, time and costs

- Support development of Capex Procurement strategy that drives initiatives that deliver total business value

- Provide Procurement input related to Capex, for business processes such as Cash flow management, forex hedging inputs

Capex Procurement

- Lead the capital equipment procurement responsibilities for all Greenfield sites.

Capex Monitoring

- Ensure Capex budgets and related spends are monitored as per the cash flow requirements

Procurement Process

- Ensure procurement process compliance at all stages

Procurement Strategy

- Development of strategy decks in alignment with business needs, stakeholder expectations, market dynamics, economic environment and 2-3 year vision.

Governance and Compliance

- Ensure Compliance with Regional and Global Standards

Risk Management & Mitigation

- Undertake risk assessment of suppliers of respective categories in every aspect-financial, due diligence and legal, contractual, capacity as well as quality/service level

(a) Education, qualifications and training

- Degree in Engineering is must.

- Procurement related knowledge trainings.

- Ideally, an additional qualification such as Specialisation in Procurement and Supply chain or equivalent or a MBA.

(b) Experience or skills required

- 8-10 years procurement experiences.

- 2-3years manager position is preferred.

- Track record of delivery at junior management level.

- In-depth understanding of procurement processes around Capital procurement category
