Procurement Head - FMCG/Agri

JD-

To manage & support Sourcing Group Manager for ~ 37380 KGBP spend of Nabha site in respect of raw materials – Milk, wheat flour, sugar, SMP, coal, other raw materials & miscellaneous items, capital, revenue and services with a focus to deliver right quantity, quality, price and service levels.

1. Sourcing of milk through 4 Chilling Centers, 35 BMCs (Post Project Destiny Implementation), and dedicated contractors as per production requirement of Nabha, Hamira, and Sonepat site.

2. To monitor & determine the effective benchmarked purchase price of milk in relation to market survey & purchase price of other agencies operating in the milkshed area for more accurate milk forecast to avoid variation in PPV

3. Formulate strategies and plan enabling placement of RM & PM at site for smooth production

4. Develop sourcing strategies for big spends like milk, coal, polybags etc for delivery of long term sustainable benefits

5. Generate plans to derive the committed annual savings and cost avoidance targets

6. Manage overhead spend by establishing plans and effective tracking & monitoring system

7. Grow a resilient and competent team by foster self-development culture and support with effective feedback & mentoring.

8. Engage stakeholders at site, HO and across-locations for communication of targets, achievements and seeking feedback on performance

9. Manage external environment by interaction with external KOPs for conducive operations

10. Work with team to manage ~ 1050 strong vendor base for alignment of GSK’s interests and emerging market operations.
